At the newly renovated Family Birth
Center—now located exclusively at
Centegra Hospital–McHenry—we offer a
complete range of prenatal and obstetric care.
We’ve added a few special touches for
families. For example, you can enjoy newly
renovated private rooms, bedside spa
treatments, robe service, a bath and body
gift set, a meal and gift to take home and
valet parking for your guests.

Preparing for the big day
Centegra’s exceptional care begins long
before your baby arrives. The Centegra
Healthy Living Institute helps moms-to-
be get healthy before pregnancy and
stay well throughout. Resources include
Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Centers,
Simply Weight Loss and diabetes
centers.
We’re close to home, too. Centegra
Physician Care’s OB-GYNs and a
certified nurse midwife care for patients
throughout the region at offices in
Woodstock, Crystal Lake, Huntley and
McHenry.
Right from the start
“We help patients plan their pregnancies
and take the time to listen to questions
and concerns,” says Alissa Erogbogbo,
MD, medical director of obstetrics and
gynecology for Centegra Physician
Care. “We explain pain control options
and educate mothers and their support
partners so they’re ready when the big
day arrives.”
Centegra offers classes that range from
prenatal education to breastfeeding for
women before they deliver.
Mothers in the hospital get support
from board-certified lactation
consultants. After they go home, moms
can visit the Breastfeeding Resource
Center for any advice and supplies they
may need.
