Children learn to swim when they feel safe in and around the water. Using games and
educational drills, we’ll teach your child water safety skills and how to swim so he or she
can go on to enjoy all types of aquatic activities. Our experienced Water Safety
Instructors are trained by the American Red Cross to work with children of all ages and
are certified lifeguards. Min. 3 per class. Call

Fitness Swimming for Adults
(ARC), formerly Aqua Boot Camp
Participants 16 years and older will get a great
60-minute workout in the water using their own
body weight, resistance and weights.

Lifeguard Certification Class
After taking this course, you’ll be American
Red Cross-certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/
AED and First Aid, assuming all tests are
passed. The course fee includes books,
pocket masks and instruction. Must be
able to swim 300 yards according to
American Red Cross guidelines and retrieve
a 10-pound brick the first night of class.
Participants must be ages 15 and up.
Must attend all class days and times.

Recertification Class
Must be currently lifeguard-certified. Must
have been recently certified in CPR, or have
certification that will expire soon. You will be
recertified in American Red Cross CRP/AED

Lifeguard Instructor
Certification Class (LGI)
Learn the skills needed to teach the Lifeguard
Instructor Course. You will be certified to
teach once successfully completing the LGI
course with a passing grade. Great for anyone
working at a pool or physical education majors.
Must be able to pass the precourse according
to American Red Cross guidelines the first
night of class.
Participants must be 17 and
older. Must attend all class days and times
and bring LG manual and own pocket
mask.
